Ubaldo Gandolfi (San Matteo Della Decima, Bolonia, Italia, 1728-1781) fue, como su hermano menor Gaetano, uno de los últimos representantes de la escuela boloñesa cuyo máximo exponente fue Ludovico Carracci. Su obra se mueve entre el barroco y el neoclasicismo que empezaba a apuntar. Para mí el estilo de ambos hermanos se asemeja tanto, que me resulta difícil poder asignar la paternidad de sus obras.
