GIROLAMO DI ROMANO (ROMANINO) 1484-1566 Brescia, Italia
Girolamo di Romano, conocido como Romanino (Brescia, Italia, 1484-1566) fue un pintor renacentista cuyas pinturas, fundamentalmente religiosas y retratos, tiene un fuerte colorismo y muestran la influencia de Giorgione, Mantegna y Durero. Realizó numerosos frescos, siendo de destacar los llevados a cabo en la Loggia Grande del Palacio Magno del Castillo Buonconsiglio de Trento. A estos corresponden la mayoría de las obras aquí mostradas.
